Internet Browser goes blank when trying to upload files from disk

So I come across this error when trying to upload a file from c: to different places. Like installing firmware on to network units or uploads file to some places. However it goes fine when upload files to Facebook ore google error reporting.  I tried Chrome and Internet Exporer with same results.

This is what happens in the logs

Hi Knut W,

When did the issue start to occur ? Did the issue only occur in this specific machine ?

Please ensure the machine has got the latest updates and all the updates have been installed correctly(View update history).

We can take the following step to have a troubleshoot :
1.Perform a clean boot to verify whether there is a third party conflict here.
How to perform a clean boot in Windows
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135

2.Run "sfc /scannow"and "dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth" to check the health of the system .

3.If the issue occured recently,we can perform a system restore to recover the machine to a previous point to have a check .

Best regards

Hi knut,

"Still hungs when trying to reach file Explorer from web Application" "We tried to install a new pc with the same specs and updates  as the other pc "
Do you mean you have performed a clean installation in this machine ?
Do you mean the issue will occur when we try to reach the files explorer from the specific web application or all the web applications ? Did the issue only occur with the specific machine or all the machines ?
If it only occurred with the specific web application ,it is recommended to look for help from the web application developer for help .

If it only occurred with the specific machine ,have you tried to perform a clean boot to have a check ?

Have you tried to copy files to a network location from the Windows Explorer to have a check ?

Best regards
