Installing wireless printer that is connected to desktop to a laptop too
HelloI am trying to install a wireless printer to my laptop. The printer is currently installed to a desktop and 2 other desktops are using the printer as well. All the desktops are windows xp. The laptop is windows 7. The message says the printer is succesfully installed, and ready to print, but it does not print anything. 0 documents in que. An error message comes up"An error occured in the scrip on this page.Line 2032Char 1Error Unspecified errorCode 0URL res://ieframe.dll/preview.jsDo you want to continue running scripts on this page?"Anybody have any ideas how to get this working? Is it because all the computers are not the same operating system? Do I need to get something for the HP printer to work with windows 7? I think it is either 16 or 32 bit?ThanksHeather

The first thing you need to tell us is does the printer support windows 7 (make / model)Is it on the list???http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/default.aspx

Hi, Since the printer is installed successfully on the laptop, please open a Notepad and type some characters, and then print the file in Notepad for a test. Does the error message persist? If the issue persists, the issue can occur by incorrect printer settings or incompatible driver. Please uninstall the driver and reinstall it in Compatibility Mode. Thanks, Novak
