Every time I start my computer I am informed that the update KB2289187 is ready to be installed. However, when I click OK to install it fails to install. If I can't get it to install is there any way I can stop it telling me it's waiting for installation.1 person got this answerI do too

I had the same issue, along with 2 more updates. All I did was manually download the updates to my desktop, and ran each one induvidualy. After they were installed I went back to that pesky update icon and clicked install, and like magic it said all 3 were installed. I hope this works for you. By the way i am running windows 7.
