Installing a canon printer, but it wont install due to a print spooler service stopping
So, i jus bought this brand new Canon Inkjet All in one printer. (MP250) And i follow the exact directions from the manual to install into the computer, which are as follows: 1. If usb cord is connected between printer and computer, un connect and shut off printer. 2. Turn on computer, and insert Setup CD-ROM into the cd-rom drive. 3. Click run Msetup4.exe on the AutoPlay screen then click continue on the user account control dialog box. 4. Click EASY INSTALL. 5. Click INSTALL. And by the time it starts to install, it cancels and a page pops up. and this is what is says. PROCESSING CANNOT BE CONTINUED BECAUSE THE PRINT SPOOLER SERVICE HAS BEEN STOPPED. RESTART THE COMPUTER TO START THE PRINT SPOOLER SERVICE AND THEN START AGAIN. Multiple times i have restarted my computer, and it always says the same thing.. Also, i have done the whole, 1. Click on start 2. right click on computer 3. click on manage 4. go to services and applications 5. click services 6. scroll down to print spoolers (spoolers) and this has not worked for me because, the Print Spoolers and or Spoolers is not there.
