Installing Microsoft Security Essentials
A program called "Internet Security Suite". worked it's way onto my computer and among other things, blocked access to MSE. I was able to contact the company. They gave me an uninstall program which seemed to work, however, I still wasn't able to access "Microsoft Security Essentials". When I clicked on the desktop Icon, nothing happened. So I uninstalled MSE thinking that I could just reinstall it, however, each time I try, about mid-way through the install, I get a message saying it has encounted and error, whereupon it reverses the install and refers me to this website. So far, I have followed the all the suggestions posted by "Keith" the support engineer, down through "step 3", which is to start windows in the "Selective Start-up" mode. Any more suggestions?bobinseattle1 person needs an answerI do too
