Installed on Eee901 20GB Linux
Greetings all,I fought and fought with the installation size of Windows 7 on my EeePC 901 20GB Linux edition, and finally got it to install. The only problem I've come to find is that in the process of vliting out some of the stuff, I seem to have gotten rid of the ability to register my copy of 7. When I go to the system properties and click activate Windows, I get:http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j218/kharun/error.pngAny idea how I can fix this other than doing another vlite test and reinstalling?

i installed on to a eee 900 20gb but did not need to reduce the installation, i did in the end take windows 7 back off because on the 900 there is a 64meg graphics limit so I lost most of the new display functions. Alsoif the eee 900 went to sleep it would not wake up.

The reason is that there is still ahuge amountof debugging code in this version. I would recommend waiting at least until the RC version is released before attempting this. You might want to ask this question on the following forums.MSFN Forums>vLiteHope this helps.Thank You for testing Windows 7 Beta
