I am unable to see any installed apps when I press windows key in windows 8.1 pro. Also I am unable to search any apps through search bar.

Follow the steps below to solve the problem.

1. Check the App installation location with administrator permission, and the installation path is C:\Program Files\WindowsApps.  If the install program still existed, continue the steps below. If not, youd better reinstall the Apps again.

2. Run the App troubleshooter to solve the problem.

3. Try to the new user account or reconnect the Microsoft account.

4. Start Windows in clean boot mode. If the problem is solved, you can refer the link below to find the conflicting software.

5. If it still doesnt work, please use the SFC tool to repair the system files. Use the SFC tool by following link.
