Installed Win 7 and now computer will not power down.
Did a clean install of Windows 7 32bit and when I go to turn the computer off it doesn't shut completely down. I have to actually turn the power switch off on the back of the power supply to shut it down. Did not have this problem with Vista ever. Any ideas?

I have the same problem with Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Shuts down ok from GUI but not from on-off switch.

Hi,
I suggest you update the BIOS, motherboard drivers and other drivers for Windows 7 first.
If it does not work, I also suggest you test the issue in Safe Mode and Clean Boot to check the cause is hardware or software.
