Installed Konica-Minolta BizHub Fax/Prtr drv on SBS 2003 server but can't add prtr to Win 7 Pro wkstn
I have downloaded and installed the new 64 bit driver for the BizHub on the server (Windows SBS 2003) using a local TCP/IP port. Protocol RAW. RAW port 9100. Print sharing is active. User group Everyone can Print, Manage Docs, and Manage Printers. BizHub printer is connected to the network via an Ethernet connection and has its own IP address. Then tried to add this printer to the new Windows 7 Professional (x64) workstation, build 7600, connected to the domain. Win 7 reports in an error window that it can't connect. This has stopped my installing new Win 7 wkstns at my client site. Also, the local printer company where my client bought their BizHub sent out one of their techs. He couldn't get it installed either. Not sure what to try next. However, upgrade work is halted until this issue is resolved. Best Regards, Dave Raley

It turns out that McAfee firewall was stopping the print jobs. McAfee made a policy change in their online settings and the problem went away. I didn't find out the details, but it was only causing problems on the Win 7 Pro PC. DaveBest Regards, Dave Raley
