Installation suddenly not found
I recently bought a 64gb OCZ Agility 2 SSD and an upgrade copy of Windows 7 64-bit Professional to install on a previously Vista 64-bit computer. The install went wonderfully, and everything worked great for about a month. Tonight, upon booting, it suddenly no longer recognized the install. It boots to the System Recovery Options screen and asks for me to load hard drive drivers. I have not installed any new hardware or software recently that should prompt this kind of issue. I put the install disk in and went over to the recovery console, but still no operating system was found. After some research I tried to root around in the BIOS, but the only thing that looked plausible for a solution was to change the SATA settings from AHCI to IDE. Tried this, and it didn't even boot at all. So now I'm back to the previously-working AHCI settings, and was wondering if anyone could offer some suggestions on where to go from here. I found some generic-looking advice which I will attempt if I get no replies here, but I've seen so far that problems involving an SSD usually have some sort of specific troubleshooting. Any help would be *greatly* appreciated, as I really don't want to have to resort to a complete re-install. Thank you!

The OCZ Agility SSDs have some known firmware issues. I recommend going to the OCZ forums and reading some of the sticked threads regarding your issue, as it seems to be a common one with that particular drive. If you found this post helpful, please give it a "Helpful" vote.
