Indexing System Files
I've had a heck of a time finding particular system files on my new windows 7, and the Search function is not very helpful. I thought it would help to index my C: drive, but find that by dafault, precisely the folders in which I am most interested are 'Excluded': ProgramData; Data; AppData; AppData; Windows!!! How can I index these folders??

Hi You can add the folders you want to the index list by: Type Indexing options in the search box in the start menu Select Indexing Options. Click the Modify button Then use the top section of the dialog to select which area you wnat to have indexed. A tick indicates the folder is included. When you've added the folders click Close Hope that helpsG North MMI
