Index rebuild as a Scheduled Task
I have a user who's mail index often falls out of sync. This is always fixed by manually rebuilding the Index through Control Panel. I'd really like to schedule this as a nightly task, so it could run daily during the middle of the night. I know I can stop & start the indexing service, but what I want to do is drop any existing Index & entirely rebuild. Is there any way to do this from the command line or a scheduled task?

Hi, You can make a script for rebuild index, and set it to run daily task in Task Scheduler. And you can go to ask Scripting Forum for the script: The Official Scripting Guys Forum! Forum By the way, based on my research, there is no command to rebuilt index. Thank you for your understanding.
