Hi,

I am using the builtin VPN client to connect to a strongswan VPN gateway. When authenticating with certificates strongswan checks the revokation status. This can take a while, leading the RasClient into quiting with error 809 (the other side did not answer). Is there a way to increase the "initiation timeout"?

Hi Cris,

Unfortunately I didnt find relevant build-in properties in Windows for IKEv2, there is only a dll link to vpnike.dll in registry which is a DLL file be responsible for component VPNIKE Protocol Engine.  there are 4 tweakable properties for IKEv2 (Idle time-out, Network outage time, SA expiration time, SA data size limit) and you could change settings by using Netsh command.

However since you mentioned that you are using third party VPN client and a strongswan VPN gateway. Generally they do provide .conf file to control more Parameters about network connection behavior. Since this part is not hosted by Microsoft, Id suggest you contact them for further information.
