Incoming fax does not print
I use an external modem attached to my Windows 7 workstation to send and receive faxes.I have several printers (HP4100, HP4600) configured as TCP printers.Both printers work fine with Word, etcI have configured Windows 7 Fax to receive a fax, then send the fax to the printer. It doesn't!No visible error message displayedAny comments would be appreciated.

I just checked the event logs and found: Unable to print C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows NT\MSFax\Queue\1CA5C37921162.tif to HP4100Duplex. There is a problem with the connection to printer HP4100Duplex. Check the connection to the printer and resolve any problems. The following error occurred: 0x00000709. This error code indicates the cause of the error.

It should be the driver problem. Please launch Device Manager and uninstall the two printers. Also launch Program and Features, remove the driver packs of the two printers. Then, follow the steps below to install the printers. 1. Click Start, click Control Panel and double click Devices and Printers.2. Click Add a Printer. 3. Select "Add a local printer". 4. Select "Create a new port". Choose "Local Port" as the type of the port. 5. In the box "Enter a port name", type the address as the following format. \\[IP address of the host computer]\[Printer name] Then click Next. 6. Choose the correct driver in the driver list. If no available driver, click the button Windows Update, wait for the process finishes and then look for the driver again.7. Finish the installation.Arthur Xie - MSFT
