Inbox messages sent to trash
After arriving in my Inbox, emails received opened or not, are automatically being sent to my Trash...all messages received the day before and all messages except the very latest unopened that day.I think this is happening daily but it may be sporadic. I've checked the settings and can find nothing that sends messages to trash on a daily basis or set time. Any ideas? 1 person needs an answerI do too

Are you using Outlook Express?By trash, do you mean Deleted Items?Do you actually see the messages in Deleted Items, or are they just gone? Bruce Hagen MS-MVP [Mail]

check rules to see if there are any setup to send mail from inbox to trash after a set time.

Messages go to the Trash Can. I can still read them. I end up having to click on those that aren't supposed to be there and move them back to my Inbox.

Thanks. Looked at this before and did not see anything with reference to timing of transferring inbox messages to the trash bin. I'll look again.

I don't know of any Windows mail clients that have a folder named "Trash Can".Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]

I have the Inbox, then Sent, then Trash, then Junk. Today, all of my messages were in the Inbox, nothing was automatically sent to Trash.

MSN Explorer is what is stated above the tool bar. There's 4 folders: Inbox, Sent, Trash, Junk.Today, all my messages were still in the Inbox...so this is very strange as it does not happen consistently.

MSN Explorer is what is stated above the tool bar. OK. I have no experience with Webmail, so I will have to let someone else help you out here. Bruce Hagen MS-MVP [Mail]
