Inbound firewall rule scope reset on reboot
I am running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. I have an inbound firewall rule for port 22 that allows connections from any computer. However, whenever I reboot my machine, the Remote IP address scope (visible in the scope tab of the property page for the firewall rule) is automatically reset to "Local subnet" instead of "Any IP address". How can I make the value "Any IP address" persistent across reboots? Here is the info returned by GetVersionEx: Major version: 6 Minor version: 1 Build number: 7600 Platform ID: 2 Service pack major: 0 Service pack minor: 0 Suite mask: 256 Product type: 1 Best Regards, Jonathan Turkanis

Hi, This issue can be caused by third party programs. I suggest testing in Clean Boot mode. In addition, if any security program is installed, temporarily disable it to check the results. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. That was it. The SSH server was modifying the firewall configuration. For some reason I assumed it was an issue with the firewall. Thanks!
