In windows 7 enterprise version Can not see other PCs with windows XP in LAN
1. I am not able to see net work pcs with XP from my lap top with Windows 7 enterprise. I follow Control Panel > View net work status & Tasks > Work Network > Work Network > View computer devices & Net works shows only my lap top and no ther PC on net work. 2. Also Control Panel > View net work status & Tasks > Work Network > See full map shows only my lap top and no other pc on network. 3. I f I ping any PC with I.P Address it does ping also I can reach on shared documents/folders by \\ 192.168.0.50 and I succeed. 4. Net work Discovery is On. 5. I have tried Fire wall in On and OFF mode also but no change. 6. Printer attached to 192.168.0.51 I can print and it shows ready. &. I have also tried option given in forum i.e. administrative Tools > Local Security policy > Network list manager Policies > Network Properties > Network Location > Selected our network 3 > Net work Location changed to private but the problem persists and does not show other PCs on net work. 7. It was working fine a week back and showing all PCs in the net work earlier and not showing now any othe PC on net work. Please mail me solution. Thanks

Please let us know detail information regarding the network environment. Do you connect the Windows 7 computer and Windows XP computers with router or switch? Is it a domain network or simple workgroup? If they are in a domain, please ensure that the DNS server and WINS server are properly. You may run ipconfig/all > %userprofile%\desktop\ipconfig.txt. Then copy the contents from the generated file ipconfig.txt on Desktop into your next post.
