Is AppLocker only for Ultimate / Enterprise edition or is AppLocker feature available also in other versions? I can see it in gpedit.msc also on my Win 7 Pro. No, AppLocker is only available in Enterprise and Ultimate, but you can manage it from Windows 7 Professional but not apply AppLocker policies to those machines. To be able to control the AppLocker feature and when using GPO:s in general I suggest that you use the server to roll it out to the clients.

According to the MS employee demonstrating it at the kickoff, Applocker is available in home premium also. I thought he said every version but Starter Edition.
