I'm trying to uninstall firefox with it won't. I went into "uninstall software" and click uninstall Firefox but nothing is happening. Is there another way to do it?

Hi I'm not familiar with how Firefox installs. Some programs will have their own uninstall component. You can unistall an application by going to the following location within the registry "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall" and finding the key for your program, in this case Firefox. Then in the key should be an Expandable String Value called "UninstallString" Copy the value of this string and paste it into the run dialogue box, that should perform exactly the same function as the Add/Remove button in the control panel.

You have solved the problem yourself now, but when problems like this occur you can usually solve the problem by doing as you have already done, in other words, re-installing the application and then uninstalling. Sometimes a file becomes corrupt which prevent the main application from uninstalling. By simply re-installing, any corrupt files are immediately over-written and the uninstall porceeds without any problem.
