Impossible to set Google as default search provider?
We get an increasing helpdesk-cases where people are annoyed because they only get Bing as their default search providers. Microsoft seem to have removed Google from my country (Norway (no)). What has happened? I cannot search for any providers named Google (0 hits). I can of course trick this in but I cannot expect all our users to use a workaround for adding Google. We see an increase in Firefox-usage now and this gives us other problems (poor sharepoint integration etc). It's impressive that Microsoft blocks out the major search engine and mainly gets our users annoyed.

Hello customer, You might go to the following hyperlink directly to add Google as the search provider and dont forget to click the checkbox before the Make this my default search provider option. http://www.ieaddons.com/en/searchproviders?lang=en&index=12 Good luck! Andy

so you want us to distribute this across all our users? forget it. Microsoft must add a better option than this!

Microsoft doesn't restrict what search providers are listed in your country, look closer to home for the reason. If what you said was true, then none of us could select google for our search provider.MCSE, MCSA, MCDST
