If I set a picture as a folder icon, can other network users see it and if so how do I get it to work?
Hello, As part of a project, I am setting up an organized file system, which is accessible by all users on the network. As part of this, I would like to be able set a picture as the folder icon, which I can succesfully do, but I would like all the other users to be able to see these pictures as well. I had a co-worker check on his computer and he couldn't see the picture icons like I could. Is it possible for him and others to see them, or is it a problem with the computer? We are both running windows 7 and both viewed the folders as "large icons". If its not possible ok, if it is, any suggestions? Is there anything I can try to get him to see the images too? They really help us find what we need a lot faster. Thank you, Abaloe

1. The simples way is doing this in reference computer before sysprepping. 2. If you want to t do the change in more computers that are in active directory, then use group policy. For this solution place the question in appropriate Windows Server forum and give more detailes on your server operating system. Regards Milos
