Should I be running both Defender and MS Security Essentials.Defender gets updated definitions regularly. I can use Defender to do a full scann of the computer.1. Is Defender Anti-Virus software? I just took a look a Defender and it is turned off. I did not turn it off so it must have gotten turned off by the Security Essentials install. Perhaps they don't both run after all.
