Hi PD Sathish kumar,

"Is it possible to configure Windows Server Update Service on Windows 8.1."

Do you mean configure the Windows 8.1 to get updates from the WSUS (Windows Server Update Service) or configure the Windows 8.1 machine as a WSUS Server ?

If it is the former ,we can configure it through the group policy .
Computer Configuration \Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Update \Specify Intranet Microsoft Update service location
Once it has been configured ,we can check the registry keys to verify it has been configured to receieve the updates from the WSUS .
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate
WUServer

If it is the latter ,I am afraid it is impossible .The WSUS is a role of the server ,to configure a WSUS server,we should get a server system.

Best regards

I understand from your point, there is no possibility to configure windows 8.1 system as a WSUS server.

Thank you very much for your reply.
