I want to add another computer to my existing wireless network
The install wizard asks for my "SSID." It has been so long since I first setup my network that I cannot remember what I used. How can I find out what my "SSID" is?

HiIf the computer Wireless card is On and you have a Wireless icon in the Tray, you just click on the icon and choose your Network. The name that belongs to you and appears in the Wireless Network list , is your SSID.http://www.ezlan.net/Win7/SSID.jpg Jack-MVP Windows Networking. WWW.EZLAN.NET

Jack: This is a forum for Windows XP. I think the above is only applicable for Windows 7.

Go to Control Panel/Network Connections. Find the wireless network you're connected to. Right-click it and go to properties. You should be able to find the SSID there.Hope this helps.
