I suggest making a Security Essentials Rescue CD, so you can scan while Windows 7 is offline, I know there are tons out there, but this is just suggestion

Hi, Thanks for the suggestion. It’s could be a workaround if your computer is offline and need to scan immediately. However, since the security software is updated time by time in order to avoiding some new virus or malware, it’s better if you can scan the computer online.
