I recently installed virgin media since which computer now on go slow.
Initially it seemed that there was not enough space. I have checked and there is enough space on computer. Windows regularly gives a mesage re virtual memory low increasing ..... I have deleted files, documensty so still have this.Major slow down in getting acess. Takes 5 to 10 minutes if not longer to get itself going. On occassions delay in typing ie I type and the type does not immediately appear.Conincidentally when using the battery although full and should last 3 hours runs low after 45 minutes. Any help appreciated. thanks Ionquest1 person needs an answerI do too

Did you use the VM installation cd, and if so did it install any anti virus or other software?Batteries can fail / deteriate over time, it also depends whether its lite or heavy useage as to the time.

Hi Chaos, thanks for the reply. I thought the Operating System was required to post. At least it asked me. Windows XP. I started with McAfee, then Avasti and the Virgin's own On the other issues some improvemnet. Do note that virgin media security takes a while. Thanks again, IQ
