I need serious help with an error I'm receiving at random times. It says "Windows Script Host access is disabled on this machine. Contact your administrator for details."
I have been seeing this error on my computer forever and I'm finally getting fed up about it and I have NO idea whatsoever on how to fix it. I have checked several websites to troubleshoot it, and the language on all of them is so over my head that it might as well be written in a foreign language or something. I just need very simple step by step instructions that I can understand so I can follow them and fix this problem. I'd really appreciate any help someone can give me as soon as possible. Thank you so much!!!1 person needs an answerI do too

Thank you so much!!!Copy the stuff between the === lines to a Notepad (text) file and save it as a .reg file (for example WSHFix.reg) and then merge it to the registry:===================================================================Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Script Host\Settings]"Enabled"="1"[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Script Host\Settings]"Enabled"=-===================================================================The last line in .reg files is always a blank return line. To merge the file to the registry double click on it and when asked if you want to add the information to the registry answer Yes.John
