I need Folder From Each PC On A Windows 7 Peer to Peer
I manage about 20 Windows 7 Home and Pro versions in a call center. The sales people have a folder that I need to get a copy of somehow without having to go to each machine with a flash drive as I have been doing. I was hoping to RDP but cannot do that on Win7Home so I need another way. I can't use Windows Backup for the same reason as Home Edition has limits. I can create a public share on my computer as a destination. Any other way to do this automated that someone can suggest?

You can setup Sharepoint Workspace. This is especially good if there are many computers to which you need to copy the files. Also, you can choose use the public share method, and on, say, every system startup or any time interval, you can copy the files to the computers. **I believe that the second way is slightly more efficient, because you only need to set it up on your computer, wheras you need to setup Sharepoint on your clients as well. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Use the Windows 7 Homegroup feature built into the OS. HomeGroup is password-protected and puts you in total control. You decide what gets shared—and what stays private. You can also make your files "read only," so other people can look at—but not touch—your stuff.
