I might have locked myself out of my Windows Vista VMware virtual machine
Either I forgot my password, or I *was* entering the right password, but perhaps a hacker got in and changed my password, disabling me from logging in. I didn't write down my password, and the password recovery wizard is out of the question since I didn't create a password recovery disk. Re-installing the operating system is out, too, since it won't recognize the installation disk image, which came from the MSDNAA. It won't read any other boot disk either. I tried to uninstall Vista by putting Ubuntu in its place, but it didn't recognize the Ubuntu boot disk image. Whatever's bugging Vista must really be that bad. A system recovery is out as well since I did not create a Windows Vista system repair disk. Please help! WAIT! Don't answer yet! I might have remembered my password, but I will keep this question open, should anything else come up.
