I have unchecked the 'notify me when this connection has limited or no connectivity' for my windows wireless and LAN connections, yet the icons still appear in sys tray when disconnected.
Hello,I am using my Intel client to manage my wireless network connection in Windows XP Pro SP3. (I need to use the Intel client because it supports wireless protocols not supported by the Windows client).I would like to remove the Windows wireless network connection icon from the system tray/notification area and cannot find a way to do this.I have opened network connections, right clicked and selected 'properties' and on the general tab at the bottom there are two check boxes for 'show icon in notification area when connected' and 'notify me when this connection has limited or no connectivity' both of which I have unchecked (I did this for my LAN too), yet the icons still appear in the tray when disconnected.Any suggestions?Thanks,Bob1 person got this answerI do too
