I have to Restart Print Spooler service to print!
I have an HP 2015N printer that is assigned a local address on the network. Specifically printing from Windows 7 machines (I have 3 on the network) EVERYTIME I have to restart the print spooler service to get the job to print, otherwise it will just sit in the queue. I have seen this earlier on in the BETA of Win 7, but thought this issue was fixed. I have tried several different drivers from HP with the exact same issue. Has anyone else had this issue? I tried doing a search for a similar type issue but couldn't find any. This is using both Win 7 Ultimate 32-bit and 64-bit.

I suggest testing in Clean Boot mode first. If it does not work, try a new account: Create a new user account ==================== 1. Click the Start Button, type User Accounts in the start search pane and press Enter. 2. Click Manage use accounts. 3. Click Create a new account, and type the name. 4. Choose account type as Computer administrator. 5. Click Create Account. 6. Log off and log on with the new account. If it does not work, try removing and reinstalling the printer: Remove printer driver =============== 1. Click the Start Button, type PRINTER in the search box and press Enter. 2. Right click on the printer and choose Remove Device. 3. Click the Start the Button, type APPWIZ.CPL in the Search box and press ENTER to launch "Programs and Features". 4. Try to uninstall all related printer software and utilities. 5. Restart the computer.Hope it helps.Vivian Xing - MSFT
