I have suddenly lost all emails in my inbox folder. I am using Ourlook Express.__Is there any way to recover them. Can find info about Outlook, but not Outlook Express 6. Thank you
I suddenly discovered all emails in my inbox were missing. They have not been accidently or deliberately deleted ( to my knowledge). They just were not there when I opened up Outlook Express. Can find info on Outlook, but not how to recover lost (deleted?) emails in Outlook Express 6. I have XP, SP3, Win 7.o. All advice appreciatedThankscasho56

I've seen that happen when the Inbox file gets too big -- around 2 GB in size. Look in the Outlook Express store folder. By default, it's: C:\Documents and Settings\User \Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{Identity }\Microsoft\Outlook Express where: User = your Windows XP user name Identity = string of letters, numbers, and dashes. How big is Inbox.dbx? Is there an Inbox.bak file? Do you have a recent backup of the folder?
