I have not been able to degrag -- here is the message I get: "You must have Administrator privileges to defragment a volume." Any ideas on how to fix this? Thx for help.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi Joyce, · Are you logged into the Administrator account or as a standard user account on the computer?· Is the computer on a domain network?· Were you able to run the disk defragmenter on this computer earlier?· If yes did you make any changes to the computer before this issue started? Although any user can gain access to the Disk Defragmenter tool, the ability to analyze ordefragment a volume requiresadministratorprivileges. To run the defragmentation operation, you must be logged on as anadministrator. You may verify if you have the administrator privilege on your account and try to change the account to Administrator account and check if it helps you run the disk defragmenter.
