I have just purchased an Ipod touch and it is asking me for the network password that I have forgotten. How can i retrieve it (password).

If I am understanding this right.........Your network password is provided by the Wireless Router and not from Windows. Are you trying to connect your iPod to your Home Network to browse the internet? Some Wireless Routers, such as Sky or BT HomeHub have a preset secure password which can be found on the router itself. On a computer, open Internet Explorer and type 191.168.1.1 in the address bar and tap enter. Use your admin logon to the router and access the wireless security settings. There you will find how the wireless security is configured. Type and password should be available. iPod detects the the type automatically, which is why you need only the password. Consult the user's guide for the router\wireless access point if you need further assistance.
