I have access to internet, but not to my intranet
Hi, I'm not able to open my intranet of my office. I know they fix this issue with Vista SP1, but I don't understand why they not fixed that with the new Windows 7. To know if the problem was with Explorer 8, I tried with Chrome and Firefox and I got the same result. I have no problems to go on internet, but no intranet. Thanks

Hi, thank you to try to solve my problem.I am in a Domain. I'm bot able to see the intranet of my office. My computer is member of my domain like all others PC's of the domain. I had the same problem with my Vista's PC that I tested, someone gave me the solution and I don't remember what it was. Maybe that's the same thing.

Maybe there is some issue with DNS servers, so try to open intranet site by IP, but not by name. For example 192.168.0.10Also try this:-open IE options, go tosecurity tab, then click local intranet image to select intranet options, thenclick sites button and make settings you want. If required add intranet site to trusted sites list

Hi Metal, How does it work now? If the issue persists, your computer may be actually not joined into the domain properly. This issue can occur when there are more than 15 characters before the dot (.) in a Domain Name System (DNS) domain name. I suggest that you install the hotfix KB961402. The following article can be referred. You cannot join a Windows 7 Beta-based or a Windows Server 2008 R2 Beta-based computer to an existing domain, and you receive an error message: "The parameter is incorrect" Hope it helps. However, if the issue persists, please click Start, and right-click on Computer, choose Properties. Then check the part Computer name, domain and workgroup settings, let us know the result. Also, please enter ipconfig /all in command prompt and let us know the result. Arthur Xie - MSFT
