I have a windows 7 pc that I can not connect to with remote desk top from another windows7 pc
If I send and invite or save it to a file and copy to that pc I can get them to connect But when I browseto it from remote desktop or try to connect using pc name or the ip address it wil not see the other PC. On this same network is a windows 2000 server and I can connect to it fine.

Hi, Which version of Windows 7 is installed on the machine, Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate or other version? Is there any error message when trying to access the target machine via Remote Desktop? First, I suggest you refer to the link below to reset the Remote Desktop settings on the problematic Windows 7 machine. Remote Desktop Connection: frequently asked questions If the issue persists, please post the error message here for research. Also, please try the following steps. 1. Temporarily turn off firewall and antivirus program. 2. Upgrade the NIC driver. 3. Perform a Clean Boot to check the result. Thanks, Novak
