I have a problem with homegroup. I cannot delete my computer from homegroup.
Interesting stuff here is it never joined my other computer in a homegroup but it says it belongs to a home group. So I thought of removing this PC from homegroup. But the following error appears everytime. Also I'm unable to see or change the homegroup password. Attached, Screenshot Someone help? I forgot to mention that both PCs are running Win7 64 and both have been updated to SP1.

Hi, Firstly, you could use the Troubleshooting tool to see what the result is: Click Start, type homegroup, and then press ENTER. Click Start the HomeGroup troubleshooter. Also, you could perform the following steps to reset HomeGroup: 1. Click the Start Button, type "cmd" (without quotation marks), in the search result list, right click on Cmd.exe and select Run as administrator. Note: If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password, or click Continue. 2. In the popup window, type the following commands and press Enter one by one: Net stop p2pimsvc 3. Access the following folder and clear all files inside: C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming\PeerNetworking 4. Click the Start Button, type "cmd" (without quotation marks), in the search result list, right click on Cmd.exe and select Run as administrator. Net start p2pimsvc Alex ZhaoPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
