I have Inspiron 1525 with Dell 1395 WLAN, using XP. I recently changed wireless carriers to Qwest. And now I cannot get my wireless to connect.
It shows it is connected but when I try to use it it does not give me access. I have communicated with Qwest until I am blue. On one of the modems I could get the wireless to work if I went tohttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/871122 and would run fix it 50469 & that would work for a bit unless I shut down my system or let it set idle for a bit. I have been on several other carriers & have had no issues, plug & go. I am at my wits end. Anybody have any ideas? Again it shows I have a live wireless connection but am unable to access am using wired currently. Thanks for any assistance! OrleneOh yeah, I am on my third modem with them. modem is a olde PK5000 now.

Hello,In most cases Network drop down issues are caused by firewalls. You can try to temporarily and check if you can connect to wired network.Cheers
