I had to reinstall Windows XP, and now it is acting as if there is no such thing as wireless internet.
I reinstalled Windows XP, and I can't connect to my home's wireless linksys router. Everything related to wireless connectivity has disappeared except for the "wireless network setup wizard" icon under "network and internet connections." The only icons in the bottom right corner are the battery, windows security alert, and safely remove hardware icons. When I click on the "Network connections" icon, there is no trace of wireless internet anywhere under any of the tabs. My laptop is a Dell Latitude D830, and I was having minor connection problems before I reinstalled XP. (But that's not why I had to reinstall it.)1 person needs an answerI do too
