The System Volume Information folder contains restore points made by System Restore. A virus in that folder can't hurt your computer unless you intentionally restore the computer to the way it was at a previous time. To eliminate the file containing the virus, turn off System Restore (in Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools ), then turn it on again to create a new restore point.

Hi there Florida, please go to http://www.eset.com/onlinescan/ it's a very effective scanner, please make sure to turn your 'real time'Antivirus Off,just before you start the scan.(and remember to turn it back on afterwards. Also make sure to place a check on 'scan archives',click on 'advanced settings'place a check on 'scan for potentially unsafe apps' and click Start. The scanner will remove anything it finds if you so direct it,at the end of the scan. Then please go to your desktop, click Start click Run,type mrt.exe click ok. M/soft's Malicious Software Removal Tool will appear.Run a Full scan.t will delete anything it finds also, without asking you. After you Delete your System Restore Points,it's a good idea to Defragment your hard drive, and clean your disk.f you need instructions for that, please ask.An important point to make is that your security program has apparently failed you,so may want to consider alternatives,and/or install extra security. Many good programs are FREE of charge,so if you wish i can recommend a few.Do let us know how you go with all that.
