I get a security error when installing iTunes, but I am unable to access the local security policy in Home edition. Any fix?
Do a right click on the install program and select Run as Administrator. This usually takes care of the problem when and install program is writing where Win 7 thinks it ought not.

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, that option does not work, nor does running in compatibility mode. I did some research, however, and finally found a way to install: Go into Control Panel. Create new user with as Administrator. Switch user to the new profile. Download a new copy of iTunes and save it to the desktop. Right click and choose Run As Administrator IF prompted, select to make the program available to all users, if not prompted don’t worry. Install iTunes, and then switch user back to original user, and iTunes should be installed and working. Hope this helps if anyone else has the same issue!
