I could not install Live OneCare on Windows 7 machine
I got an error that the platform was not right or something to this effect. At the same time I get a warning that I don't have any antiviral software. I don't want anything but OneCare.Thanks.AlexB

Windows 7 won't support it because Microsoft has discontinued OneCare (paid users get a refund, see the OneCare website for details), and has a new free product called Microsoft Security Essentails. It provides the same protection as OneCare (it uses the same AntiVirus system) and is available at http://microsoft.com/security_essentials.Since it was built from OneCare, Security Essentails works the same way: you're either green, yellow, or red, and you take actions on detections.__If this was helpful, please vote.
