I can connect to my network but after a random amount of time I can not communicate to the internet (such as stream video or check email regardless of program)
As the title says I lose communication ability over the internet after a random amount of time. Sometimes it does not effect me at all (once every 8 hrs) but other times it happens within 10 minutes of the last reset. I have two computers on this network and my m2010 (running vista) has no problems with connectivity. I have been "repairing" the network and most the time it seems to work. Sometimes I have to disable the network card on the computer, wait, and then renable it. I know the network card works and is in good condition as well as the router. I feel like there may be something screwing up the DNS cache but I have been unable to find anything (doesn't mean its not there) and the systems seems free of all forms of malware (again doesn't mean its not there) any suggestions?1 person needs an answerI do too

Not sure if this will rebump the question there's been alot of views any suggestions? *edit* even though its in the Windows XP forum I might add that the system that is having the issue is running XP SP3 Its an eeePC netbook that I don't really know how to reset to factory settings. The pc came with a cd that doesn't have xp on it and the computer itself has no cd drive (really horrible choice of media for a system with no CD drive... cheap 256mb flash drive costs almost as much now)
