I can't turn on Windows Firewall on Vista
starting on the Windows Security Center thing, when I click Firewall>Turn on now, it tells me "Security Center can't turn on Windows Firewall.", so then I click on "Turn on Windows Firewall manually" that brings me to a dialog box for Windows Firewall, it says it's off, when I click "Update settings now" it tells me "Windows Firewall was unable to make the requested updates." so then I click "Change settings", that opens up the "Windows Firewall Settings" box, now here's the weird part, I can check the "On" "Block all incoming connections" and "Off" boxes, I can switch tabs, but when I click on "Ok" or "Apply" nothing happens, I can click on "Cancel" just fine. the Windows Firewall Service is running, so I'm not sure what's causing it. I have ESET as my antivirus, and I've turned off it's firewall, but WF still isn't turning on.
