Sooo.... i'm currently in internet explorer app, and there doesn't appear to be any way to get out of the app without using the keyboard. I move my mouse into any corner, but nothing appears and if I move into top left and click it doesn't switch back to the last app (desktop). what is wrong?? this was all working fine a few moments ago and I haven't changed any settings etc.

i can press the start key on keyboard, but I thought wondows 8.1 was meant to be amazing, how come I can't even navigate properly???

This doesn't help at all.  It is not just internet explorer, but if I go into any app, this happens.  Basically when I go into the top left corner, I should get the recently used apps.   This doesn't happen. same for when I try to get the settings by going into the top right and moving down, nothing comes up, I cannot access PC settings.  if I click the bottom left, I don't get the start menu either.  just not working.

if I reboot then it's fine again for a bit, then suddenly it happens again.  can anyone help?  it's really annoying and I don't know what could be causing it.
