I don't know for what reasons ... but I cannot encrypt any of my files nor folders. I just bought my vaio notebook and logged in.. so i have no idea why... it's not workingI only set my computer name like they told me to in the beginning... so account aimee should acutallybe my administrator account... it has full control over any of my files... I've tried probably everything i've found on the internet... but ;;; can anyone tell me why it's not working? the part where i click the box next to "Encrypt contents to secure data" cannot be done because it's in grey and i can't select it... please help me... T.T i don't want to have to reinstall the window7... I wanted to use the bit locker... but my windows are home premium version... and it's not available on this version right?? ;;; ah~ is there any way i canput a password into my files and folders without having to buy a program???

im not sure on Win 7 encrypton yet myself as i only migrated yesterday from vista ultimate to 7 ultimate. as for other software: there are a few free programs to do this + compression (to save space) WinZip Zip Genius both as good as each other i prefer Zip Genius as its much easyer to navigate and grasp
