I can't get rid of Windows Installer screen and active x screen doesn't come up when I download latest version of an application
When I turn on my computer, I get a screen that immediately comes up that is labeled "Windows Installer" and then it tries to access an application like for example "Roxio Media Manager." Although my e-mail and the browser still works, the window installer comprises the performance of my computer. Not sure if this is related, but when I try to access a website that relies on adobe flash, it doesn't allow me to access and the website closes down with a message that says "Internet Explorer has closed this webpage to help protect your computer." I also tried to download more recent versions of Adobe Reader and Adobe Flash. My computer makes a beep sound after I try to download, but I don't get a message in the yellow band saying I have to download active X. Not sure if these problems are all related, but I can't get rid of the windows installer screen.1 person needs an answerI do too
