I can't get online at this one specific website!
Hello. For some reason or another, I can't for the life of me bring up a specific website....http://www.justbeenpaid.com/member/login I can open the website from my computer at work but for some reason, I can't open it from my home computer. It's the strangest thing. I can click on a million different online links, and for some reason, this website always times out and I get the message that I am unable to connect with your website. I run my online diagnostic test that I see when I get my unable to connect message, and it reports that my connection is ok, etc. I've posted this problem on a forum, and someone suggested that I clear my cookies. I did that and still nothing. I just don't know if it's my computer's security software or something (but usually if that is the case, if it doesn't like a site, it will just bring up a big warning sign alerting me). I contacted support for that website and they informed me that nobody else has a problem?!!? Any experts out there who can possibly make a suggestion on what might be going on!??! Also, when I was in Internet Explorer 8, I looked at "Internet Options" under "Tools"...do I need to change one or more settings in the "privacy area" the "security tab" "advanced" tab that could take care of this??? Could it be a security setting with my firewall, etc., etc.? Do I need to run "msconfig" and change something there perhaps? Maybe it's my wireless network? (I was going to try to connect my computer to the modem directly with a cable, rather than use the wireless network) Maybe that will do the trick?Thank you very much!! I hope you have a solution.2 people need an answerI do too

Clear your temporary Internet files (Tools | Internet Options | Delete) and also go to a command prompt (Start | Run | CMD) and at the command prompt type IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS[enter] and see if that helps. What anti-virus software are you using?-B- http://www.officeforlawyers.com Author: The Lawyer's Guide to Microsoft Outlook

What's the specific error message that you get? Have you tried running a spyware scan with something like Windows Defender or Spybot?-B- http://www.officeforlawyers.com Author: The Lawyer's Guide to Microsoft Outlook

Well it will take a long time then say Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage. Other times it brings me to bing.comgo to codeleakers.com and tell me what it shows.I was on earlier today.I will to a norton anti virus scan. I dont got spybot or windows defender(computer is kind of old might not handle)

Norton is probably only going to scan for viruses. I'm more curious that you check for spyware, actually. Google SpyBot (it's free) and I'm sure your machine will handle it.Personally I'm not a big fan of Norton Antivirus (especially not the 2002 version). You might want to consider switching to ESET's NOD32 or, Microsoft Security Essentials (free). You can also try going to Internet Explorer | Tools | Internet Options | Advanced and click the RESET button. See if that helps. -B- http://www.officeforlawyers.com Author: The Lawyer's Guide to Microsoft Outlook

Well you could try scanning with Housecall (http://housecall.antivirus.com) but frankly if you can't (or won't) run the tools that might fix the problem I'm not sure what else we can do. As I said, I'm more curious about spyware than viruses on your machine and I don't know that Norton 2002 is going to detect any spyware. -B- http://www.officeforlawyers.com Author: The Lawyer's Guide to Microsoft Outlook
