Did you sign in with your Windows Live ID? Signing in is required to access the download. Also make sure that you got a product key, as Windows will only work for 30 days before it will need one.Hello! That is weird. I followed the link you gave (http://wb.dlservice.microsoft.com/download/release/windows7/) and I get MS's Download Manager: Please wait while the Download Manager begins your download. If you have not already installed ActiveX control or the JavaTM applet, an information box will appear in your Microsoft Internet Explorer browser prompting you to install "ActiveX control:...". If the Download Manager can not install the ActiveX control or the JavaTM applet in your browser, you may have system restrictions. If you have system restrictions, please: Download products using the Web Browser method Contact your organizations Administrator to download products using the Download Manager method It redirects to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/ (win7 homepage type thing) after about 3 seconds. This page (http://wb.dlservice.microsoft.com/download/release/windows7/) is the one you are supposed to receive once the download has started. What browser are you attemping to download the RC in? Microsoft designs proprietary things (their (or Java's) download manager perhaps) that seem to only work in their browser (IE). Try using IE to download the RC. (but then I downloaded the RC out of Firefox in Ubuntu 9.04 just fine)Hello!
