Whenever i download a file from a trusted source such as Microsoft or CNET with the run or save option a popup with an emblem on the left which looks like the Windows Firewall emblem pops up and states that thefile was deleted because it contained a virus. This can't be the case. I have restored the system to an earlier resore point and lowered UAC - and tried other things such as AV software associations etc with no success. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated . thank you in advance.
